Analog Shoot with my Kids

As a photographer by profession, I don't often feel encouraged to take images of my family or print them, its work isn't it? But, since I've discovered film, and started shooting analog, the editing process has changed, and I don't get instant gratification by looking at the screen. Because it is analog, I take each shot with careful attention, I then send away my film to be processed in the USA. The lab is very important because they are artisans in their way, and you build a relationship with them. So after about 4-6 weeks I receive my email to download my scanned images. This is where the fun starts, I receive a folder full of images that I basically forgot about, and I have to admit, the film shots need very little editing. So that is why I am now devoted to taking film shots of my kids and family, it is just soo much more rewarding! This is my second session of them on the farm.
