Simon & Melissa

I often have moments where I photograph a group of people and then when I look at the image either on my camera or later when editing, I see someone and think to myself; "I really hope I get to photograph this person again someday" It has happened often, maybe it's positive thinking, but I then book them for a shoot. Melissa is one of those people. I was so fortunate to be able to photograph her sister's wedding as well, and in one particular shot, a shot of the two of them with balloons, I said to myself, I hope I get to photograph Melissa's wedding day one day. And so it happened, I was so humbled to be part of this fantastic wedding. The people where again, magnificent, the food, the venue and the day, was so perfect. For a moment during their ceremony I pictured that this must be what heaven is like, hence the stunning landscape shot that I am starting this blogpost with.
